True Vision Magazine Sales - DO NOT be fooled by them!

We had a man come to the door on a Saturday afternoon, claiming to be helping underprivilidged kids and having moved to NC from Los Angeles, he was involved with gangs and talked about turning his life around. Had us outside for at least 30 minutes. We felt bad for him and ordered some magazines. When he told us the total we were floored. I know for sure that Lucky Magazine is only $12/year and they were trying to charge me $75 for 3 years. I know it was "supposed" to help charity but that amount is ridiculous! I expressed hesitation in buying and immediately he tried to sweet talk us into buying some other magazines.

So come Monday we mailed in the cancellation form and at that point the check was cashed. We should have just cancelled. I called the company at least 6 times that morning before finally getting an answer. The guy acted like he was taking down my information and claimed we would get a refund in ten business days. Well it has been way over that and still no money to be seen. I'm going to file a report with the Better Business Bureau.

BE Warned! Don't let these people fool you. I no longer answer the door unless if I am expecting someone.
