So Called "Short Pay Off" Is A Rip-off They charged me $1k to attempt a short pay off and never did anything

I went to a presentation, there were about 30 people there. After the 30 minute presentation ended, about 7 people signed up. I signed up, gave them $1k and filled out paperwork the next day.
It took about 3 months before I realized that nothing was happening. They kept using stall tactics. I finally asked for my money back. They stopped taking my calls or emails.
They told me they did their work, and that they never guaranteed their work to me!!
