Dishonest sales tactics

Fairfield lied to us about their use of high-pressure sales tactics and the length of their presentation. My wife and I accepted a solicitation to attend a 90 minute presentation/tour on the benefits of owning a timeshare in exchange for a 3-day, 2-night vacation package. The solicitation, confirmation literature, and other Fairfield advertising I have seen PROMISES no high pressure sales tactics, respect for guests, and only a 90 minute presentation/tour.

When we arrived at the Fairfield Welcome Center we were asked to sign an acknowledgement that the presentation/tour would last 90-120 minutes, so they start changing the rules as soon as you step in their door. Our total experience lasted 3.5 hours. The presentation and tour lasted 2 hours and then we were introduced to a "Travel Consultant" named Becky. I immediately informed Becky in no uncertain terms, that our only interest at that time was to get our hotel voucher signed and to leave. "Oh no", she said, "I cannot get your voucher signed until I give you my part of the presentation". Then she launched into 1.5 hours of sales tactics that could only be described as high-pressure. Finally, after she saw that we had no intention of buing anything, we were given our signed voucher.
