B & D Digital coffee pot

I purchased a B & D digital coffee pot in the month of February 09 and with proper usage and cleaning I have discovered that the hot plate coating is coming off and the warming unit is starting to rust. This appliance is used in the morning only, as I work days, and is never left on. I have always been told that this is the best brand and am very disappointed with the results I have gotten. I will not purchase another one and will definitely be letting my friends and co-workerd know of this problem. As I work in retail as an assistant manager I will also be letting any prospective customers know of the potential issue.
