Received A letter in the mail saying that I had positively won a prize of $7,000.00.
All I had to do was return the "Irrevocable Prize Certificate" along with a check for $24.99. However, in microscopic print on the inside of the envelope was a notice that this was really a contest and there were so many legal sounding release clauses that released everyone except Adam and Eve from any legal recourse.
There was no phone number of anyone to contact, no web address, plus they are supposedly not even in this country. You would have to be really gullible to fall for crap like this. My next stop is to turn this over to the postal authorities.
