They're Ripping Just US Off!

I am writing this because I was almost swindled by Editor & Chief Review, Inc.

When I came to the door, I thought that the salesman was a bit pushy, but I also realized that he was sincere about gaining points for a chance at earning some scholarship money for college in a contest by selling magazines. No, I was not faked by him.

What made me suspicious was the fact that the cancellation period was so short (3 days including Saturday). So, once the guy left, I looked up the company online and found a report on this website talking about them.

I immediately made steps to get my check back. An around-the-neighborhood search was made within the hour and the young man was driven back so that I could have my check returned, so I haven't lost my money, but I wanted let people know that they're still at it... And now they're targeting kids from the bad side of town to sell magazine subscriptions for them, and a ridiculous amount at that!

The young man in question is having hopes to go to college but he doesn't seem to get the fact that he's being swindled by the people he's working for.

I hope and pray that people like this young man, with aspiring hopes to get ahead and do something with himself, read this report and know to steer away from Editor & Chief Review and other companies like it. I haven't been burnt by them, but he has and is still deluded in thinking that by doing this he has a chance of going to a good college.
