Some college guy came by my dorm and wouldn't leave till I bought a magezine

About two hours ago a college guy came around selling magezines to get points to go to Amsterdam. He claimed to be a few points away from winning, there was a girl group trying to out sell him, and then he started flashing me information that I didn't have time to read.

First of all, he was soliciting at my dorm at Texas A&M-Commerce. I already knew that soliciting at my dorm is illegal. However, I heard the poor guy out because he looked like he needed help. That was a big mistake.

We stood at my door for about 15 minutes and still persisted that I buy a magezine so he could go to Europe. I kept wanting to refuse, but he was a good salesman. I asked him what he wanted me to do and he asked if he could come into my apartment/dorm so he could use my endtable to write on.

That was the fatal mistake because in came his friend that was also selling magezines. They both came into my livingroom and sat down on my couch and I knew that they were planted there until I bought a magezine.

I now knew that this was a scam and there was only one way out of it. I paid, in cash, $45 for a subscription to EGM. The total was actually $44 but he kept my $1 for a tip!

After that, the two salesmen left and I rushed to my computer to check out RLA Inc.instantly it popped up as a scam. I was furious! I tried to find the two guys to get my money back, but they had already flown the coop. I immedialty went to the front desk at my dorm and reported the two crooks.

I'm just a 19 year old college student and I thought that I could trust people. I am now wiser and I want justice. I could have used that money for tuition, loans, or even food. I should have just set fire to my $45.

Sure RLA Inc will say that there is a 120-160 day delivery time period, but that is a joke! I subscribe to other magezines and get them the next month. They just have that long period hoping that you will forget that they ever stole your money. But guess what, I never forget when I get burned!

I was thinking about cancelling the order, but after investigation I found out that is a joke as well. It has to be written out? I want a phone number to call and complain! All I want is my $45 back and I'll be happy.
