Never pay money for a loan! Do not send $500 insurance deposit to

I am writing this report because I was contacted by someone from Jam Corp Finance Co. Stating that I had been approved for a $5,000 loan. I was then told that in order to receive the funds, I would need a co-signer, collateral, or I could purchase an "insurance policy". Needless to say I chose the "insurance policy" for $400. I was instructed by the "loan officer" James, to fax the documents and when they were returned, he would provide me with the information on the depository agent for the insurance.

I attempted to send the $400 via moneygram online. The transaction was denied because of suspected fraud.

I then began doing research whereas I could find no information on the above company. I then typed in the name of the agent "Devron Henriques" and came upon this site and someone who had a similar story.

The other party had actually sent their $500 and have not received their $5,000 loan. Similar story - different company name but same receiver-Devron Henriques.

I got lucky!!! I almost went to a store and sent the money. After reading the other person's story. I am sure it is a scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!!! I am taking a deep breath. That would have been an expensive lesson.
