My family and I had to move quickly and heard of this Mobile Home Park in Calvert County that would work with you with the deposit, if you moved into a place and fixed it up. My wife and I went to look at the place and it was damaged beyond repair. Mr Mona informed us that he was going to fix up the place and that many families wanted it and if we did not take the apartment we may lose out. I had no where else to take my family so I paid him the rent which at this time was 600.

On the day we where suppose to move in the apartment was still in the same condition as before. There was food and dirt everywhere and the toliet had human feces in it. My wife put on gloves and started to clean and paint, as we were doing this we discovered mice where running wild as if they own the place. We clogged the holes and spent up too 800 fixing up the place.

To thank us for doing HIS JOB the b*st*rd raised the rent to 650. We had NO SHOWER for 6 months and to make matters worst the river flooded our place more than once. It flooded so bad one time that it was water in our apartment for more than two days. After the water pushed back, he made us clean the apartments ourselves, with the promise of cutting our rent for the next month. He cut the rent, but was pissed that we didn't pay him something on the deposit. He sent his flunky Frank to inform us that we had to now start paying him 750.. 650 for rent and 100 towards the deposit.

At this time my wife and I started to look for another place to leave, but Mr Mona knew that most people that move into his places do so because of lack of money or credit. The most gross problem was the pipes in the bathroom backing up. I can't tell you how many times My wife and I had to "snake" the spectic tanks pipes ourselves, and how many times he knew about it amd did nothing. We called the County but got zero help there, the Heath Department was even worse.

Lastly, was the mold that made me and my daughter sick. My doctor informed me that we had to get out of that place immediately or die. We by God's grace moved and our health has improved but we still suffer with health problems. IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT LIVING IN HALLOWING POINT YOU RISK YOUR LIFE AND THE LIFE OF THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE! Mike Mona is a slum lord that needs to suffer like the people he makes suffer each day.

Frank Moneymaker was also responsible for a lot of the hard ships of the residents. Mr. Moneymaker was the type of person that would try and get the women to sleep with him, for their rent or some other favor that need his help. Mr Moneymaker would hit on your wife in your face and threatrn to put you out if you approached him. He was at the time of our departure trying to make moves in the 15 years olds, promising that they could be his Santa's helpers, but we all know what he really wanted.

I feel sorry for his wife and family who I believe doesnt know of his behavior when at work, and he gets a check for disabilty from Uncle Sam, but works at the Trailer park everyday. He has put out so many families and women who didnt want to sleep with his nasty fat a*. I hope that someone reads this (hopfully someone in the County or State Government) and shuts down or makes Mike Mona sale the park to someone who cares if just a tad more than he does. Don't move into this trailer park this is your first and last warning. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Ps: they also stole our deposit and rented the apartment for upto 800 a month now!!
