Wrongfully terminated

I was an asst. Manager for 1 year. I was transferred to the burbank store as a 'test'. The manger at the burbank store was having problems with a co-worker there. They sent me in to work there while he (the co-worker) was sent to my store. They wanted to see who the problem was. While i was working at this store, ive found many write-ups on this boy. Long story short, the manger walked off the job & the boy was brought back to manage the store. I was his assistant. About 3 months working there, i realized i couldnt do both mine & his job. He would punch in & leave the store for hours at a time, he would clean out his car, run & get his hair cut or sleep in the back office while i ran the store. 2 days before my 5-day vaction, i told him "when i come back from vacation, im thinking about stepping down as an asst. So you can do your job as a manager. He said "you know your gonna lose pay & hours if you do that". I said, thats fine because i cant do your job any longer. I walked into work the next morning & he came up to me & asked for my keys. I was shocked when he said i was terminated. I asked him what i was being terminated for. He had no answer. I handed him my keys & walked outside. I got on my phone & called corporate. I have a meeting set up with corporate that morning & didnt know what to do then. I was told by the secretary to go home & they would call me. Ive called numerous times after that and was told "theyre busy... Wait for the call". That was back in june. I gave 110% at work and this is the thank you i get. How sad.
