Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third Bank is very shady and dishonest to customers

I had a car loan with Fifth Third Bank. I was out of town and missed my Jan. Car payment. When I got back last week, I had a letter in mail box that I owed them 915.04 (two car payments). If that payment was made by 3/6/09 my account would be in good standing. When I called to make the payment by phone they told me they have already turned it in to collections and I now have to pay the collection people the remainder of the loan in full. (Over $9000). I am holding in my hand the letter that states I have until 3/6/09. That is still three weeks from now, but yet I'M SCREWED.

I STRONGLY discourage anyone from banking with this unscrupulous, dishonest, uncaring bank. I have read many other comments on-line about this bank. NOT ONE of them was good.
Please beware before you do business with them!!!
