Fifth Third Bank
No Help Does not call if payment is not received Never finance through this company

The start of the story is that we cosigned a loan for my brother in law to purchase a vehicle. Well he stopped making the payments about 6 months into the first year. Fifth Third Bank never bothered to ever contact us that these payments were not being made. Well we called a week earlier to make a payment over the phone when we knew this was going to happen and Fifth Third Bank tells us that they will not accept a payment until the day the payment is due on the account. We then call back the day the payment is due to make the payment and they said the account had been turned over to a collections agency. I talk to a manager at fifth third bank by the name of Amy (Whether or not that is her real name I don't know) she takes my checking account number to make a payment to bring the account up to date.

I call back on tuesday and "Amy" is on vacation and no one knows what is going on and they keep telling me to call back to the collections agency. They have not processed a payment as of yet on the account. I talk to Fifth third bank at least 5 times and talk with a manager and the manager says there is nothing on the account that says a payment has been made and I tell him a person under him 2 minutes earlier said that it says on my account that she is checking with her manager to process a payment. None of the people at this bank have a clue what is going on they are completely worthless. My next step is to try and get a statement of what has been payed.

They are worthless do not bank with them in any way shape or form.
