Let's start here. They are not calling for me, but for my spouse. Who has debt with Capital One. They are so rude he won't even talk to them anymore. This person, Amy, keeps calling me and being extremely rude because I changed my bank acct number awhile back and didn't give them new info to pay this debt, you know, because it's right on the top of my list for what bills to pay *sarcasm*. This person actually threatened me with a lawsuit today... This bill does not belong to me. So I asked to speak with someone else, which she threw a fit about but finally did. I gave the new person the payment information and asked to speak with a supervisor over her other employees behavior. I've worked in collections, threatening and trying to intimidate a client is not the way to go. I spoke to the supervisor and told them that it was threatening and intimidating and since it was not MY bill it's considered harassment and the next time I would be calling the police. She told me to go ahead and started in on me too. I finally ended the phone call with "It's not even my f*ing bill you stupid bitch". Until this point I had remained calm and polite and got nothing but flak and rude behavior from the "supervisor" - who sounded an awful lot like the first person I talked to.

Their website says they pride themselves on their trained customer service. What a crock! Anybody can be rude to someone and threaten them, it takes a skilled person to be polite and convince a person to pay a bill. If you own a company and are looking for someone for collections, do NOT use these tools.
