I was insulted and they tried to rip me off!

It is simple. They have a car that is retail value of $7000.00 they have listed for $5900 and I have a car that the retail value is $7500. To trade and swap they want to charge me $4000.00. They offered me $5500.00 less than retail for my trade in. When presnted to the used car sales manager he refused to do anything else. He said we only give auction yes I said AUCTION value for the trade in. Which I looked it means they only paid $1600 to $2000 for the one I wanted. So beware if you go here and try to trade something. You are competing against auction price instead of Kelley blue book or NADA. This is for a cheaper used vehicle and they wanted to make 66% off of the car so Iwould hate to see what they are making off of a more expensive used or a newer vehicle.
The only plus they had was the excellent sales staff. Just not the sales staff's bosses.
