Television 'repair'

Moved my daughter's tv out of storage. She had purchased the tv in Europe ~10 years ago. TV has a different looking cable adapter... Called Sear's TV repair to help us out. The 'repairman', using this term very loosely, spent ~5 minutes, told me the tv needed an adapter that could only be acquired in Europe, the set was too old anyway as the piece was no longer available... Charged me $105. Today, I still have this tv in my dining room. I took a look at it, noticed a '75 ohm' (??) notation on the back. I went through my junk drawer & found ~6 'things' that have '75 ohm' imprinted on them. Plugged one in, connected to cable... Vooolah... I have a picture. I wish I would have done this before I phoned Sears 'tv repair'. So, why I am I a nurse & he's a tv repairman? I want my money back. How dare you represent yourselves in the 'tv repair' business. You're frauds.

Don't worry about improving your nonexistent service for me... I will never walk in a sears store again.
