Not telling the truth about the sales

In November of we were asked to come to a sales presentation for Wyndham Resorts. During the sales presentation we were told that if we were not able to use our points, we could rent them through extra holidays and someone else could use them and pay us.
When we got home I called my sales person and asked for information on how to get ahold of extra holiday to place our points for rent, because we knew we did not have enough vacation time or money to be taking a vacation any time soon. He was very rude to us and did not give us the information for extra holiday. I then looked it up, and found out that members are not able to place their points for rent on there, only the resort.
We were also told that we could use our points from our other resort for Wyndham. We later found out they charge us a fee for transfering them, and they are not worth as much as we were told.
Another lie is the fact that he told us if we are not happy with our Wyndham timeshare, we could sell it for more than we were buying it for, because the value would always go up on the property.
My husband had just gotten back from Iraq, and we thought we were getting a wonderful "deal" in buying this timeshare, only to find out we paid more than what some other people were paying for the same points! I don't understand how they could scam someone who is working hard to defend this great country!
Now we are stuck with this loan against this so called wonderful investment, and trying to make ends meet and will have to find a way out. There should be laws and regulations against the way they lie to you during a sales presentation.
