Embarassed to report I am a victim of this ripoff

I an embarassed to report I was a victim of a ripoff by Simple Escapes. I was signing on to gain accesss to AOL when my phone rang. The lady calling told me she worked for AOL and they were having problems with unauthorized users gaining access to other user's passwords. I was suspicious. But she advised me to change it. She was really smooth. She knew my name, address, phone number and I fell for it. She suggested a new password and I used it. If she didn't work for AOL how would she have that information?

March 5 I called my credit card to get my listed charges. There was a charge for $134.95 for Simple Escapes. I immediately called my credit card compamy and explained the situation. The representative arranged a conmference call with the two of us and a representative of Simple Escapes. She had me explain the situation to him, then she took over the conversation.

He agreed to credit my account within 60 to 90 days.

I hope they get ther people behind this scam.
