Invalid Warranty

My daughter ordered 2 pocketbikes from this company for my grandson and her friend's son prior to Christmas. Since I was away for a military class I did not get to put the bikes together until the week of Christmas. First, we found both of the bikes had leaks in the gas tanks when we put gas in them. Second, the casing was cracked around the pullstarters or magnetos. We could not get anyone to answer our calls due to they Christmas and New Years holiday. Their phone recording said they would not be in until 12-29-08. I finally got in touch with a female saleperson before the end of the year. She began right off the bat informing me I should have read the information on the contract prior to purchasing the bikes and since I put gas in the bike that It was now a "used bike" and invalidated the warranty. They could not allow me to return the bikes due to gas fumes and postal requirements for a potential hazard. She would not refer me to her supervisor or anyone else that could help rectify the problem This was very infuriating to me and I did lose me temper, but DID NOT curse her out. She also hung up on me and I have not been able to get in touch with anyone there. Needless to say I had to purchase a more expensive and bigger bike for my grandson to have for Christmas. My daughter has managed to get e-mail from the company stating that they need pictures of the problems with the bikes before they can evaluate them and determine if they should send replacement parts. I don't need parts - I want my money back for an inferior product due to the grief I was put through trying to save Christmas for a child.
