I was conned out of 90.00

I was a site called gumtree and me and my partner was after a puppy from a young age and i spotted one a golden retreiver it said it was 11 wks old so i emailed the seller and in the morning i reccieved an email saying that he was still availible and he was called jay the reason for selling was because he was living in leeds and moving to and from to scottland dundee so he was so nice on the phone and sounded so genuine and he asked me if i would like him delivered as i said i had no transport so i thought cant get better than that so he told me it would be 90.00 to have him delivered i was over the moon as at the moment me and my partner are going through ivf so i thought a puppy will keep me occupied and he would also be a companian so i gave him my details name address etc and he emailed me to say that he was taking the puppy to a agent and i had to send my 90.00 by a moneygram in the nearest post office in order for the puppy to be on its way so i did i sent the money to cameroon as i was told to do and i waited for my puppy to be delivered at 7.00pm nothing came so i checked my emails and they emailed me to say that they only ment to work until 9.00pm so i would reccieve him in the morning very healthy and well so 9.00am came on the 9th january and still nothing i reccieved anouther email to say that they had been stopped by a vet insurance and i needed to pay 400.00 to get him out to be delivered but i never paid that luckely i explained to them i have not got that type of money and they said if i didnt pay it i would face pet abuse as the puppy will go into quarentine for six months so i started to pannick and the person who sold it to me made me believe him cause he said he would help me raise the money then i just wanted to see what was going on here so i got my mum to ring him and ask about the same puppy and he was going to sell it to her not knowing that she was with me so that how i knew it was a scam
