They sent a phoney check and wanted me to cash it and send through money gram!

We got a letter in the mail with a check for 3895. The company claimed to be a Secret Shopping Agency and wanted for us to cash the check, send a certain amount through Money Gram and spend the rest on places like Burger king and Walmart.

Weve been through this before with Craiglist so i googled all the names and agencys on the letter and check, called them and found out it was all boogus!

The letter said to call a guy named Anthony Miles for information. The first time, my husband called and "Mr. Miles" had a french accent and didnt provide any specifics, except to cash the check at a local bank... Hmm. I called him back later and told him off, he of course hung up on me!

Anyway, ALWAYS verify things that sound too good to be true!
