If you should receive a letter congradulating you on having been selected to be a mystry shopper for this company, it will be accompanied by a check for $3950, or $4000.00, do not deposit this check. These people are fraudulent company who want to get into your bank account.

I received this letter and a perfectly fine check for the amount of $3950.00 ecept for I noticed the company is in Idaho but the stamp on the letter came from Canada. They wanted me to deposit this money into my account and then take out the amount, go to a money gram place and send a money gram to myself for $3400.00, HOW CAN THAT BE WRONG? Then they wanted me to fax them a report on how the Money Gram place was. All good, then they wanted me to take $51.00 of this amount and go to one of several stores which they had named and spend it, I get to keep what ever I buy and send them a report on how the customer service was in that store. I couldn't figure out where the scam is, but I called my bank and it was Washington Mutual, which makes me wonder because it seems like a lot of these things are only going to people who have accounts at washington Mutual.

HERE IS THE SCAM: The check takes 3-5 days to clear and it will not, by that time, if you had $3950.00 in your account you will have realised that that money that you just spent came out of your funds, the problem is even worse if you did not have that money in your account because you are now responsible for a bad check and you have to pay the bank for the money and the fine, THAT IS NOT THE SCAM, THE SCAM IS THAT THEY WILL NOW HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND PULL OUT EVERY CENT THAT YOU HAVE. Beware, real shopping survey companies pay very little and NO ONE IN THIS ECONOMY IS GOING TO SEND YOU A CHECK FOR THAT AMOUNT BECAUSE OF YOUR GOOD NAME!
