Portfolio RC
A call for debit that I owed to a bank that went out of business over 15 years ago!

Portifolio RC submitted a credit enquiry in my credit report on Nov. 8th 2008. After a few days, I received a call from one of their debt collectors and they indicated that I owed them money from debt that I did not pay when I had an account with Bank of Boston. I had a bank of Boston account between 1985- March, 1990. The bank was bought or merged with BayBank. So if I owed this bank money, it is between September 1985 and March 1990. They could not give me the specifics and they indicated that they are calling from Portfolio FC (not RC) but gave the address for Portofolio RC. They have been calling me but I have asked them to send the particulars but with no response. They keep putting enquiry into my credit report file.

I found your website with information on this comapny and I wanted to share and find out how I can stop them from harassing me and my family.
