Solicited $37.00 for Platinum credit card pre approved for $10,000. Cashed my $37.00 check

I received a letter soliciting I was pre approved for a Platinum credit card up to $10,000.

No telephone number of the correspondece.

I sent the required $37.00. I called ino to get their number. I called many-many times and there is absolutely NO WAY you can talk with a live person.

I paid $37.00 with check #4011 dated 10/29/08. The check has been cashed.

I want my money back. According to the above report the card can only be used in their 'useless catalogue'.

Please tell me what I can do.
