Dirty dining room and slow chicken at Moreno Valley location

We live close to Popeyes and would like to go there for dinner, but the last few times have not been pleasant, and unless changes are made we will not go back. The restaurant is dimly lit and is never clean.

Two weeks ago I went in to get chicken to take home for dinner at dinner time. I was told it would take 12 minutes to cook chicken. I would think a chicken restaurant would have chicken cooked. I did not wait.

Last night I took 2 grandchildren for dinner at dinner time. There was not a clean table in the place, and there was paper trash on the floor, yet the 2 women working were engaged in a deep conversation with another customer about a baby problem with her daughter. I stood there waiting to order and was ignored until I said, "Could you help me?" Then one girl reluctantly took my order. She did not ask if it was to go or eat in, and we had planned on eating there, but we were served in a box. While we were eating, I again heard other customers having to wait while chicken was cooked. We eat dinner as most people do in the area of 5 PM, and I would think it would be a good time to have food prepared to go.

Unless changes are made in attitude toward waiting on customers and the place is cleaned up, we will not go back. The chicken is good, so what a shame that a restaurant in a neighborhood is so poorly run.

The location is on Iris and Lasselle in Moreno Valley.
