They collected personal information and took a deposit but never showed up for the job!

Innovative Home Improvement is a REAL scam! I assisted an older couple in finding roofing contrators to fix their badly damaged roof. This Innovative Home Improvement Company came over to their house one afternoon, gasve them a rediculously low price and promised they would finance the project 100% if they could get a deposit. They gave them the check (the money they coould have purchased heating fuel with) and did not hear back from them for weeks and the crew did not show up on the date planned. After approx 6 phone calls they finally showed up and made "illness excuses" and said to finish the financing portion of the deal that they would need to collect their personal information. No application in hand they presented the couple with a blank sheet of paper and told them if they wanted a roof to put their info dow 9names, birthdate and even SSN#) With paper in hand they left the house never to be seen again. I have tried to help them for nearly a year call these individuals but now even their phones are shut-off. Sad to take advantage of people trying to make ends meet these days. These people really disgust me and should truly lay awake at night realizing the pain they have caused people.
