Vanderbilt Mortgage
After having a home loan with Vanderbilt for a year with perfect payment history they refuse to work with anyone when they face a hard time even for 1 month of payments. They told us they work with no one on loan problems

My husband and I have had our mobile home financed thru Vanderbilt for a year now and when my husband recently lost his job and I had to be off work for medical problems for a few weeks we called Vanderbilt to ask for a deferment of one month. On their website it states they have repayment plans, extensions from 1-3 months and modifications to the loan available.

When we called for help they said they help no one out and that we should put aside our other bills to pay our mortgage. When we told them it was a matter of having money for food and medicine for the month they said the mortgage should come first. I find this very disturbing and rude.
