BBB ratings "what a joke" pay the fee and get better ratings? Whats that?

The BBB is not all what it appears to be and certainly not in any good business right mind to pay a hefty fee to join. If you own a new business they telemarket you and say "Congratulations" you are one of the lucky companies we have chosen to be a BBB member, well thats a lie right there as they call everyone. They also say you are on the Honor roll, even though they no zip about your business but this is the way they try suck you into there program and get you to pay large membership fees. Now I see a grading system that has been launched? Beware, If you dont pay your fees and join down goes your grade, thats just not right. Also where is any positive information on companies??? Doesnt exist, the BBB thrives on on negative activity thru out its web site. Do you realize some companies may do extremely huge volumes of business, get a negative grade from not being a paid member and get a negative grade for having 5 complaints which they say is alot but do 500 jobs a year? That also is just not right.in your best interest do not join the BBB nor base your decision on the BBB as all they want is your money. There are other more positive things you can join.
