Rental car reservation cancellation issue

I had planned to fly from Atlanta to White Plains, NY on November 25th. I rented a National Car Rental car through Priceline. I have had to postpone the trip until April, but Priceline will neither refund the $427.20, nor will they change the reservation per their policy. Whlie I was aware of the policy prior to renting the car, the realities of life sometimes require plans to change but not in the eyes of Priceline. Customer service was of no help. Their policy is a total ripoff, and nothing more than shameless greed. If something can be done to get my money back, I would appreciate direction. If nothing changes, I will never use Priceline again.
