CHARGED TWICE as much for reservation than company! Would not refund!

I went to Priceline.com in response to their ads promising 40% off of published rates, etc. I submitted a request for a rental car and after seeing it was lower than the car company, I submitted the request and reserved a car. Not two hours later I saw on Expedia.com a car that was half the cost of Priceline! I just am disgusted!
I emailed Priceline.com and explained and was told that it was not within their refund guidelines, and basically, "Gee sorry that we ripped you off!"
BEWARE... I will NEVER use Priceline.com again! Beware.
