Gross overcharging for air conditional chemicals and misrepresentation of terms of contract

On September 15, Jeff Levins, a Certified Technician with Affordable Group Inc., Heating & Cooling Specialists, came to my home at 570 Sandlor Drieve in Englewood, FL to conduct a semi-annual check of my air conditioning unit. This is part of an annual contract that includes two check-ups with a 20% discount on parts and labor. This was the second time that the technician has serviced my air conditioner. On both occassions, he attempted to sell me different products, including a new air conditioning unit. On this visit, he said I was down 4 lbs. Of freon which he said would be $84.00 per pound. I asked what about my 20% discount and he told me that it was included in the price. Not knowing about the cost of freon, I told him to put it in the unit.
Afterwards, I checked on the computer and found that freon costs nowhere near what I was charged. I called Duke, the manager of The Affordable Group., Inc. As an anonymous customer and was quoted a price of$30.00 per pound for freon. I then identified myself as a customer with a contract who had been charged $84.00 per pound. He was at a loss for words and said he would investigate and get back to me. Eventually, Tara from his office called back and said that she could not explain the ridiculous amount of $84.00 per pound and would send me a check for the difference. It still took several calls to receive that check and the company refused to honor the 20% contractual discount that should have been applied to the correct cost of $30.00 per pound of freon.
The bottom line to this complaint is that I think this company's standard operating procedure is to sell contracts to unsuspecting customers and not honor them but instead grossly overcharge for materials and not apply promised discounts.
