White dust over two rooms and electronics

Mr Hartley was contracted to replace roof and repair kitchen tile damaged by hurricane Ike. He was to replace cracked floor tile. The removal of the tile caused a white cloud of mortar which covered the kitchen and livingroom. We were not warned about the dust so we could cover or remove valuable items (electronics, covered furniture, etc) The contractors did not cover anything wirh tarps. The damage needs professional cleaning that we are not able to do. It requires washing walls, dry cleaning drapes, carpet cleaning—just to name a few items. This was not a professional job as he promised. I have asked Mr. Hartley to come and see the damage. It is totall covered with white dust.
