Two Years of $200 Payments on $7,500 Loan, Owe $6,600

I borrowed 7500, which was the max I could borrow, and I have paid on it for two years now at 200.00 a month. That is like 4500, and I have not paid even 1000 by their rules. In other words, I still owe like 6600 dollars. I need some sort of help. My credit is already bad. I am about to just quit paying it. What else could I do?
