Raised ny credit amount from$200 To $800 in about 8 monhs, kept making payments, but they credit they raised the credit too was not available o use ever, but still geting charged as if I used it up. Newark

I recieved my card in or around November for the amount of $200.00, but before I could use the card I had to mail hem $20.00.

Then 6 to 8 months later they raised my credit up to the amount of $800 dollars or so, but it never gave you that much credit to actually use, but leaves it as an $800 balance or so always every month asking for higher payments.

Withdrew $20.00 from an ATM but said I did it 2x which overdrew the account, and added charges on the bill I recieved from them. Then got a postcard type thing and another letter saying I had to pay I believe it was $161 dollars (still have it somewhere) for my payment, and saying my account was closed.

I had called the company about the double charges from the ATM and told the woman that I talked to that I only made withdraw on the card tha day for the amount of $20.00, she was really nasty about it and told me I did it 2x on the same day for the same amount which over drew on my card, so they charged me a fee for overdrawl. I could'nt have done it 2x because the mount was'nt there for me to draw tha much out.

I had under $40.00 o use and the Am only let's you ake ou $20.00 increments, and charges a fee, at the time of withdraw, and I knew I did not have enough money to do it again and I would'nt have and the woman practicly accused me of lieing.

Now I just looked a my account with them on the computer and they say my Balance is $833.00, payment due November 8 is $33 dollars.

They also told me when I mailed my payment to use a regular plain envelope, not the one enclosed in the bill, I do remember the reason behind it. The amount I was suposed to send them was $161.00.

When I tried to call their phone # a few times, I get a recording saying that that # has been disconnected.

I believe that I and everyone else that has this card have definetly been scammed. This needs to be fought somehow because i goes against your credit.

Any suggestions on what can be done?
