3rd time isn't the charm@$%^!

I have had nothing but problems with the "NEW" Nokia 6300b cell phone that I purchased in June. It froze up completely the 1st time and I sent it to Nokia's Serice Center at my own expense. After it was returned it immediately started acting up only this time it was worse. So, you guessed it, I was instructed to give them another shot at fixing this brand new phone. So I did, which they sent a shipping label for this time. Again it came back and I plugged it in to charge and guess what. It didn't work AGAIN! So I called Nokia again and asked them to simply replace the phone. The young man I spoke with told me that the department that handled the exchanges was off on Saturdays but if I called back on Monday that he would forward the appropriate information over to that department and it would be a breeze. Guess what, I called back on Monday and was quickly instructed to SEND THE PHONE IN FOR REPAIR! I said" You must be kidding me?" and then asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then put in touch with a gem of a customer service manager by the name of Oscar who informed me that "Nokia doesn't replace defective phones" and that "He was honoring the warranty agreement". Have we regressed so far as a society that a product that doesn't even work from new doesn't get any attention by the manufacturer. Well it certianly is my perspective. Does anyone care about the quality of their labor anymore. And are all of the Quality Assurance Inspectors out there smoking crack! I don't know for sure but it certianly seems that way. Don't purchase Nokia products unless you want an inferior product with less then competent Customer Service.
