I received a check for $3,945.00 from Amro North America

I received a check in the amount of $3,945 dollars to pay the Non Resident Tax and Insurance and a letter stating that I won $250,000.00. This is a hoax.
I called the bank on the check (Sturdy Savings Bank). The account number on the check is 4550024 6. The bank informed me that this account does not exist.
Do not deposit the money!!
