Real check, big warning from bank!

After calling the bank the check was drafted from, a gentleman got on the phone and wanted the acct. # and the amount to confirm it. He said that this was a real account there, but immediately asked if I had gotten this check in the mail with a letter stating that I had won a large sum of money. I told him that I had recieved that letter, and he told me that it was totally bogus and not to cash the check. Somehow I would end up having to pay them money!!! Be careful and if you get a warning from the bank, Don't Cash The Check!!!
