Mayfield van lines is a scam they distroyed my life

I contacted this company for a corporate move from Bakersfield CA, to Longview Tx. They quoted my company to box and ship all my belongings. An appointment was taken a 9am and i was suppose to catch the flight the same afternoon at 3pm with my wife pregnant and my 1.5 year old. We waited and waited all day, i kept calling and the agent kept telling me they were on the way. At 3 pm i had to call the airline to pospon my trip for the next day. That night at 7:30 pm a guys show up in short pan and shirt alone with no pakaging items and told me he wasn't aware they were packing, he also told me another guy was on the way to help packing. I sent my wife to get some packing bags and sotch tape at walmart and we started loading with my neighbours helping us. The other hand showed up at almost 10pm with all kind of excuses. They first ask me to brib them so they can reduce my overall weight, i said no i could not give them 300 bucks on me since it was a corporate move. The guy cursed me out and said i will see what will happen. After all horribly packed and thrown in the van, my understanding was that they will hit th road since i was catching my flight next day.instead they took my belongings to a storage place and unloaded it. They kept my family items in the storage unit for a month while i was begging them every day to ship it and living in an empty house i just bought in texas. After negociations and having had my VP intervene they shipped 1month and half later, when they arrive in texas, my baby cribs was broken, my tril mill and tool box stolen, my sofa broken, everything torn upside down. I lost at least 6000 dollars worth of items. To my surprise just one person an arab showed up to unload, same story someone is on the way to help. I had my colleagues help unload the truck and filed a claim form before he left. I called for another year to follow up and finally was sent a settlemnet form by anthem claim management asking me to sign that they will pay me $182 for the harm they did to me as they evaluate things by pound 2c i guess. At this point i have lost everything and did not expect nothing from them, so i had things filled up and notarized. It is been 3 months now never hear from them.
America deserve better than this, i am shocked that these people are still around and doing business, they should be terminated and prosecuted simple.

Never, ever use this company, You will regret your decision.
