One more cha-ching for trish

Ms. Wilson has found herself a new venue for money making scams. Now its rental property. I paid her a deposit of $750 on the 25th of july. I had arranged to pay the first months rent and move in on the 8th of august.

In this time i had an emergency occur in my home state of ky. This was requiering me to go home and help my family. I called ms. Wilson and told her my circumstances, said i would not be able to move in to the place and asked for the 750 back. She said she would talk to her husband and call me back. No response.

Over the course of the next few days i made numerous calls and only got her voicemail. The times she did answer my calls she was too "busy at a business meeting" to talk and again said she would call back... Again NO RESPONSE.

Finally i got to talk to her and cried and explained that the 750 was what i needed to get me to ky. Again i got "let me call my husband and call you back"
and again no call. I spoke with her again by this time she had only had my money for 12 or so days. I had not yet paid the first months rent or moved in. I did however recieve a key in which she said i could go over and do some cleanup and yard maintenance. Which i did then she proceeded to tell me that i did the mulch work wrong. I did not know there was an art to mulching??? I even offered for her to keep 250 for the inconvenience it may have caused for running new ads and what-not. Still no refund.

Then i told her that i would take the place since she wasnt gonna refund my dep. And i couldnt make it to ky. She told me that she didnt want white trash in her place and she wasnt sure she wanted to rent to me. So then why not give me my money back?

In the mean time my lease was almost up at the current place i was living. I asked the lanlord if he would let me sign another 3-6 month lease. He said yes but i had to pay my rent for the month of august which i had not paid b/c of trying to move to the place of ms. Wilsons. Iwas going to pay but wanted to get another place first. I would have just remained there but was fearful of my current landlord denying me another lease agreement b/c of past problems of late rent. Thats why i originally paid ms. Wilson the dep.

So in this long process i wasnt able to pay my rent at my current place was asked to leave not evicted, and wasnt able to get to ky when my family needed me most. Whoever said she must haveno conscience is right. I will be persueing this in court as should everyone else.
