Cell Phone Bought Online Needed IMEI Number Requested Twice

If you are buying a cellphone from amazon.com... Just make sure they do activate your phone... Else you will be ending up suffering like me... I bought a cell phone from amazon.com... They forgot to log the IMEI of my cellphone then they mailed asking for it... Once I received the phone I mailed them that and also called the customer service and gave them that... They said it will take 24 - 48 hrs to get it activated I patiently waited for them... Next day I received another email asking for the IMEI number again... I was so frustrated... And they also gave me a 5$ promotional certificate for their mistake which I really don't want to have it... Because it make me look like a beggar... Anyway hope no one else gets in same situation as me...:- (
