Beware of dollar rental. My husband made me reservations when my brother was dying and told them we had our own insurance. Upon pick up (as other people have complained with dollar rental) you see a whole long line of "declined; declined; declined" where they want you to initial below. What you do not notice is that the top line says you accept their insurance coverage at 26.99 per day. Being distraut, after a long flight from texas to florida, and the rental already being pre arranged, i did not check all the small print. Everything was declined when the reservation was made, why should it have to be double checked.

With dollar car rental, you'd better read everyting that is on that contract you sign.

Needless to say, we complained to dollar customer service and told that the contract that was initialed and signed was valid and no type of refund would be given.

Beware of dollar rental car. I have found similar complaints on the web concerning dollar rental car.
