Richard Friedberg, Be Aware Of this Person and Stay as Far Away from Hom as You Possibly Can!

To: All U.S. People thinking about doing business with Richard S. Friedberg who currently resides in Vail, Arizona.

This is a person who has a "Shady" past which apparently includes tax evasion and destorying a previous business which cheated many people out of their money back in the 1990's and in fact served time in Federal Prison according to the various news articles recently disclosed on this site and elsewhere.

He did not learn from his past discretions!!!

Richard Friedberg then went on to develop a business concept which on the service probably had merit if it would've been operated ethically and with someone at the helm that was interested in seeing its success instead of simply wanting to line his pocket without concern or interest for those investing in this business model and concept.

The name of this company is, (I should say "Was") Advantage Rent to Own, LLC which was based in Arizona but advertsied and sought investors nationwide by posting what appeared to be job postings on career builder and monster.com job sites.

No place in these ads was any mention made that investements were required to take part in this venture.

After anywhere from 35 to as many as 100 or more people invested amounts as low as $495 to as much as $100,000 in purchasing licenses to become assigned Exclusive Marketing areas throughout the USA.

The rest is History because no such "Proprietary System" that was claimed to exist actually existed and no investor had a chance for success because most of what was promised simply never happened.

The real "Scam" to all of this was that as a part of the Licensing Agreement, a 90 day "Money Back Guarantee" was promised which made this appear to be a "No Risk" investment.

Nobody to my knowlege including myself ever received a dime back after making the requests for those refunds.

Con-Artists have a creed which is basically "Greed and Deceit" and once they have your money in their pocket, you will never see it again, PERIOD!!!

I personally will spend whatever time, effort and money is required to see that Richard S. Friedberg and all that was involved with him in this "Scam" pays for their "Greed and Deceit".

It's estimated that over a 18-36 month period that this "Scam" "Robbed" anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000 or possibly more and many innocent people were destroyed as a result of this "Scam"

We are hopeful that as more and more people come forward that the F.B.I., U.S. Attorney General, District Attorney of Tucson, AZ. And perhaps other criminal investigative agencies will in fact get involved especially with the knowledge of the past history of Richard S. Friedberg.

Anybody with a story to tell please get it posted on this site usacomplaints.com so as many reports as possible appears so as many people as possible learn not to get within One Million Miles of this character and hold on to your wallets and your purses.
