Fight Back Against This Scam

I was really skeptical when I recieved the credit card from this place - no activation call and many fees before using the card so I went online and of course! This was a bad company to try to deal with... Thanks to this site and reading many of the complaints as to how hard it was for people to try and close their account by calling, I simply typed a letter stating to close the account - I firmly stated I was not interested and had no need for their card. 2 weeks later I got another letter stating that the account was closed, and all charges were zero. I urge anyone who has been contacted by this company to just rip up any mail they send or if you apply just cancel by writing a letter or they can further try to scam you if you call. Also, there are charges just for trying to access their online site - which will automatically be billed onto your card - so do not use it - that maybe their first attempt at billing your card and once it has charges it will only get harder to escape from them. If you recieve a card - Do not use it! Write a letter and they should close it! They give you one full billing cycle to make up your mind about keeping the card I suggest do it ASAP! Include full name and account number and firmly state you want the account closed. And that is that. This company from some midwestern state better start picking up that we don't screw around in California, someone needs to shut their crooked bussiness down!
