Do NOT give them any information! When they "Cold Call" you say you have no information with you to give them right then but you would like to look into it and if they have a number you can call them back on. This way you can get them off the phone somewhat quickly.

Tell your friends when this happens to you so they know what to do too!

I just had them call me and i was lucky enough for the gentleman to give me the name of the company to look up right away. I have been a sucker one too many times before with this kind of thing, I couldn't let myself fall for this one (even though if it was legit it could really help me out!)

Basically, what was mentioned above in the long story is what happened to me except i was able to get off the phone in time.

Cant trust anyone these days!!!
