Harrassment, belittlement, crooked practice, zero ethics, targeting young, dishonest loan structure, no souls!

My name is jennifer and ill get right to the point. I have a student loan out through sallie mae they were the only company that would give a loan to a 19yr old with no cosigner.

The structure of the loan was NOT properly explained to me. (not like i had a choice if i was going to go to college) when i got out of school and started making my $550.00/month loan payments i noticed they started racking on all kinds of (capatalizing fees) which made it so my loan was growing not getting paid off.

I went to a condensed one year school to be a pastry chef as soon as i got out my husband and i had our first son who is now 2 when i realized that the loan was a trap i stopped making my payments then the harrassment started on a daily basis since then i have gotton 5to6 phone calls every 10 minutes.

At first i tried to negotiate with them to lower the payments and stop the ridiculous fees. (its almost like there employees have no souls) i was told that i was a deadbeat and i needed to go to my bank and take out a loan that day for $53,629.42 plus any other fees they could pin me with (THESE ARE EXACT WORDS!!!) mind you the original amount of my loan was $28,752.00

The loan is now in collections and all my hundreds of attemps to negotiate terms of my loan has failed with the same results as above if anyone can help me i need it no refinanceing company will touch this loan because and i quote (that company is as crooked as they come we have nothing to do with any loans that come from them) that is what 3 of the biggest refinancing companys told me.

As far as the harrassment they have called daily my friends, mother, sister, dad, aunts, jobs and the same on my husbands side its disgusting what our bribed politicians are allowing this company to do to the people of this country i know im not alone we all need to stand up against this the people calling the shots making these loans what they are, have more money then 90% of the people in this country and yet they feel like were ripping them off by barely making a living and feel lucky to pay the basic bills with a small amount to feed yourself on.

Because a honest hardworking american women wanted to go to college she and her husband cant ever buy a house or land we are not slackers we dont drink or smoke cigarettes i work 50 hours a week and my husband does 40 and we still raise our son without daycare.
