Misrepresented the service they provide and charged my card for the services misrepresented

Today I looked on Craigs List for Knoxville TN houses/apartments for rent and clicked on a listing that offered a 4 bedroom house for $730. The offer gave me a phone number to call (800-520-0169) which I did.

The sales rep, who gave his name as David Pruitt, told me that for a fee of $199 for title search I would be able to select from 43 pre-foreclosure properties in the Knoxville area and that I could see these properties and select one; I would receive a loan that covered the current value of the property and the amount owed to the mortgage company.

Silly me. I belived him and expected to see properties available in Knoxville! I gave him my debit card number and he charged it and emailed me a password to get on the Zingow website (http://www.zingow.com/); I tried both types of search and the only property shown (with no address) was a house costing $750,000 with payments of $4000 per month. One property not 43!

All the website offered was a pdf Guide For Profiting From Foreclosures and sample letters that one could send to families on the verge of being foreclosed upon. There was a claim that their sales rep would search for properties per my specifications and send me to them but an attempt to use that form resulted in the a "no properties found" message.

I was forced to cancel my debit card. Since it was a PayPal card, I must wait until the transaction is approved before I challenge the charge. I have documented every step of this transaction and will send the appropriate document to PayPay with my report.
