A balance of 245.00 has turned into over 2200.00

In 2003 due to medical issues that I seen coming on I tried working with Capitol One. I had a 500.00 credt limit, I called the company, closed out the account, and was told no interest would incure.

In Nov. 2005 I had what was called a Post Tramtic Breakdown. For almost 2 years I didnt know if i was going to live or die, After being treated by doctors and running test, they found I suffer from bipolar I @ II, I have dignosed with COPD, I have an auto immune disesae, and I also have a 6 mm tumor on m pituartary gland. I did not ask to get sick, i did not ask for the Insaine AMOUNT of money Captiol one is asking, A 245.00 bill has turned in 2200.00.

Last week I was served with legal paper of them trying to garnsh a checking account that doesnt exist anymore, which added more fees an interest.

At this moment I have been waiting almost 3 years for a disablity hearing, I draw 636 a month on SSI. I tried asking them to work with me, i tried asking them to give me time to get well and to a point where I could take care of the issue, I find it insaine that they are allowed to keep adding interset and fees. I know i owe the money. But going from a amount that evenutaly i could handle to that amount now owed, i feel over whelmed that for one the courts would alllow such, had an attorney for 19 months that did nothing for me, that was supposed to help me. If u got money and pull things can be cleared up, i am overwhelmed at what they have been allowed to do; I made a payment, closed out the account, and was told no more interest would accure. Now what do i DO, IS THERE HOPE. Please help me.
