Avoid Sunsuites Hotel

I am not sure who all I should contact here. I rented a room with my finance at the Sun Suites Hotel on Independence, while waiting for my apartment to be ready. We are an interracial couple, and unfortunately the hotel staff apparently took exception to it. One of the staff members used the hotel key to get into my room and put feces and urine all over everything.

When we informed the manager about it, we were just told that all they could do is give us a free night. I was actually shocked that a business could get away with such a thing. I understand that people don't like races mixing, but that was beyond a hate crime if you ask me. Now I don't even know who to contact about this, but for sure wanted to let everyone know.
