Scam charge attached to AT & T telephone bill

On August 1, I received my AT & T telephone bill, and there was a mysterious charge from Intellicom Messaging, LLC. For $16.07
The charge was a monthly service charge for "voice mail."

There was an 800 number and it is 800-681-6010. They claimed my wife signed up for the "service on the internet. My wife has NEVER been on the web, and would not even know how to get on. ILD agreed to cancel the charge. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I then called AT & T. The clerk had no information about Intellicom. My other questions: "Who authorized AT&T to act as a billing agent for this phantom company? Did AT&T ever investigate their new partner?" No answers. AT& T is a co-conspirator.

I wrote letters to the state Attorney General, the Illinois Commerce Commision, and the Better Business Bureau.
