Tried to frighten me and scare me with legal actions for an act I did not commit

I received a call today from this number: 949-831-00077 (I know there is an extra zero but that's what showed up on my caller Id). I answered the phone once and no one said anything. Then they called again and I answered it again, no one said anything. I was then left a voice mail stating this matter was urgent and I should not ignore this call. So the first thing that crossed my mind was this is a creditor but I don't owe anyone anything so let me call and see what this is about.

I called 949-682.1309 (mind u I had a very hard time understanding this guy and his accent) then called the company and was told I was speaking to someone by the name of John. He sated I took a pay day loan in Nov of 07 and didn't pay it back. He then read off the last four of my social security number and tried to read off my bank account# but I don't know that by heart so I don't know what he was really reading off to me. I knew for a fact I never took at payday loan that I didn't payback. Kept asking the guy to provide me with the name of the company that was suing me and he first stated US bank. That's who I currently bank with and I know for a fact this isn't true because if there was a problem, they would have contacted me. I asked for the contact number of the company and he stated the party wished not to speak with people that don't pay. I asked for information on his company and he hung up on me. I then got upset and called back and asked why he hung up on me and he stated I was asking stupid and silly questions. That's when he really pissed me off and I stated I wanted to speak to a supervisor and the stated that they wouldn't want to speak to me because of my silly questions and hung up.

I then called my bank and told them I received a call from a guy and or company that I suspect was fraudulent. They agreed and placed a fraud alert on my account. I'm worried about my credit report because I placed a fraud alert on my account more than 10 years ago and they aren't going to be able to get anything. I was unable to purchase my car with them verify information that only I knew on my report so those wolves better think twice about trying to rip me off, get my money or get stuff in my name cause it acting going to happen.

I decided to go online and found this site. I knew I wasn't going crazy and this was a scam and this site confirms it. I'm not stopping here though. I'm calling the new station on this fake company so people are aware of what's going on. Its bad enough you have to worry about being robbed here in America but now I believe this people in India are trying to rip up off too!!!

FYI: I will never ever request a loan online again!
