Fast talk on phone, vague offer, two different links, one does not accept coupon discount, difficult to order, did not receive "package", on No Call

Miscellaneous

Though on No Call, contacted by phone. The offer was vague, w/emphasis on Ink discounts. I was sent my email the details of using the site with a discount "welcome coupon", and that I would receive some type of software package.

Within a few days went to the site and selected several CDs, then clicked HP Ink order site. When checking the order basket the CDs were not included. I had no idea where they went.in addition the "coupon" space was not provided, so could not enter the information for further discount.

I waited for the "package" to arrive, not knowing what it was supposed to contain. Getting busy for the summer I did not get around to pulling the papers to contact this company. So, today, the 28th of July, after expiration of the 30 day $19.95 offer I contacted them and explained I had not been able to use their services and why. Also, I had no received the package.

When I checked the address for shipment they had an old address, and could not tell me where it came from. The operator was more interested in getting me to agree to the "lifetime" contract of $40, rather than noting I had not been able to use or even understand the process on the site.

She finally explained to me the reason the HP Ink order didn't have the other items as it was a different company, apparently DiscoverInk.com, and that discounts did not apply and they were two separate orders, which meant I would be paying shipping twice.

When I told her I was not interested in renewing since I had not been able to use their service she agreed to credit me $19.95 which is the monthly service charge, and I believe it was for this month of August to come, though I had not agreed to automatic renewal. She said she would credit me the $19.95 and another $20 for additional software of 20 programs on one CD. I found that a bit impossible, to say the least and told her I was not interested. I had no idea of automatic renewal would occur, nor that they automatically sent a CD of software monthly to be charged to your account. She did not agree to credit my first $19.95 subscription as it was past dated.
